We are devastated to report that Martin Poupart, a longstanding and popular Member of NVARA collapsed towards the end of the Table Tennis on Wednesday. Two of our members present applied CPR and used a defibrillator to try and revive him, while waiting for the arrival of the Emergency Services. But sadly to no avail. The Emergency Services worked tirelessly but despite all their efforts were unable to resuscitate him and Martin quietly passed away. His immediate family was contacted, using ICE information but arrived after he had passed away. Our thoughts and prayers are with them.
We hope that Martin’s family and friends will get some small consolation from the fact that he died doing something that he loved and surrounded by friends
