Meon Valley Active Retirement Association
Established in 2010, MVARA aims to to encourage an active lifestyle by providing a range of activities for its members. Based around the Meon Valley in Hampshire, we welcome all retired persons over 50 – and membership is just £6.00 per annum.
Our Newsletter is circulated to all members to them keep them up to date with our timetable, or you can browse our events calendar and perhaps find something that suits your interest and abilities. “You may ot may not know that MVARA recently held a very successful Musical Evening. As a result of the amount raised, they were able to make a generous donation to the Meon Valley Baby Bank, which is a small local church led initiative, run by volunteers, which promotes the reuse and redistribution of good condition childrens’ clothing for ages up to 4 years.
MVARA is a brilliant group that lays on activities for folk aged 50+ who enjoy company and friendship as part of an active lifestyle”
