Anna abandons her staid and conventional marriage for a risky affair; her brother seeks happiness in marriage to Kitty but is afraid to propose. Tolstoy’s masterpiece reveals the tensions in marriage, in society, between city and country.

Natalie Dormer is Anna and David Oakes is her brother, Levin.
