One of the MVARA successes on 2025 has been the Singing Group (sometimes referred to as the (MVARA Minstrels), which has grown from small beginnings to 20+ members and a waiting list.
The Group sings for fun fortnightly on a Monday afternoons at the Stables in Bishop’s Waltham. Due to Members’ enthusiasm and hard work and the Musical Leadership of David and Henry backed up by Lyndon, the Group now feels able to sing for a live audience (YOU!).
We will be holding a Winter Musical Soiree, exclusively for MVARA Members, on Thursday 12 February 2026 at St Peter’s Church Hall, Bishop’s Waltham.
The evening will consist of:
- songs performed by the Singing Group;
- recitations (humorous and poignant) by members of the Group;
- a Jazz Sax interlude;
- a Pizza Supper;
- a FREE raffle.
All proceeds on the evening will be donated to a local charity.
The cost will be £8.00 per person
