Event Series: Tai Chi

Classic Eastern health maintenance

Tai Chi and Chi Kung have been used in China for centuries to improve health and longevity. Benefits include improvements in mobility, flexibility and co-ordination. The gentle, low-impact exercises also strengthen bones, reduce stress and boost the immune system. Classes begin with a 20 minute Chi Kung routine followed by a traditional short form of Yang style Tai Chi. This includes the classic postures which – with regular practice – will help you obtain the health benefits for which Tai Chi is renowned.

Non members are welcome to attend a taster session during a Beginners class.

  • Arrive at 09:00 for payment and preparation
  • Class time: 09.15 – 10.15

Beginners class times:

  • Arrive at 10.15 for payment and preparation
  • Class time: 10.30 – 11.30

Intermediate class times:

  • Arrive at 11.30 for payment and preparation
  • Class time: 11.45 – 12.45
