DESCRIPTION:The Bridge group has a potential of twelve members but the usual attendance is eight. Members range from those with significant experience of playing bridge (but who have lapsed) through those with experience in card games other than bridge – to complete beginners. Players usually progress quickly\, becoming comfortable with counting points\, basic bidding to agree contracts\, and play to make\, or defeat\, contracts \nThe intention is to move on at an agreed pace – but this is very much enjoyable social bridge\, not ‘hard-nosed’ competition stuff. \nDetails\n\nSessions are held fortnightly on alternate Thursdays\nUsually between 2.00pm – 4.00pm.\nMeetings taking in place by rota in members’ houses.\nMembers make a one-off payment of £2.00 to buy cards and score pads.\n\nContact\nRoger Wingrove  via “Contact” on this website \nThis event has been cancelled
